Kay is very wise.

The wise old owl lol.

No just been around for a long while, seen it all the highs and
the lows. I used to get pasionate like Homer but never
deserted the sinking ship. Not saying he will. He is right
things do need to change but if it means ousting Wenger
for some 5 minuite wonder Manager and Christ know's how
many Spurs and Newcastle have had in their quest
for fame, then NO I say wait, have patience. enjoy the football
we are playing and in the end it will come right I promise.

I have been patient for 3 half years now so the question is how much more time does he need? the english culture is too kind and too soft.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

I think your post is good Kay, however, different fans show different levels of frustration.

For me, personally, I am quite angry with our inconsistency, as over the summer we had plenty of opportunity to beef up the squad with some experience.

Now I know it's not Wenger's policy to buy proven Prem experience, and in the past that policy has worked out quite well for us...but the fact is the formula is no longer working, and hasn't for a while now.

There is no point in crying over spilt milk, but surely hindsight should have now made it obvious to Arsene that change in the clubs/HIS policy on buying players that can offer invaluable experience, and sticking with other questionable decisions such as Gallas as captain, were wrong and need correcting.

We all need to change with the time, and nothing remains constant, certainly not in football. I appreciate the style of football that Arsene has moulded our team into playing, at times it's quite simply amazing, however, we have the opportunity contend for silverware.

Other clubs analyse their weaknesses, and cater for players that leave during the summer, whereas, clear to all and sundry, Arsenal have not.

It's frustrating also as it looks like we are having our worst early patch (in terms of losses) pretty much under Arsene's reign, and I hope if we don't win anything AGAIN, that we don't lose key players as a result, which is more than likely imo.

things are not good.

Paul I honestly share yours and Homer's frustrations. When you
think the start we had to last season and only losing the league
by 4 points then this season so far has been wanting to say the
very least!

Wenger knew when Falmini went we needed an experienced
replacement but he relied on Diaby and Denilson who I have
said before are talented but not ready for the week to week
affrays.

Gallas was made Captain I believe in the misconstrued belief
tht it would calm him down and make him more responsible!
Well we won't dwell too much on that!!

I really don't know what the answer to this is at the moment
because the January window is too many games away yet for my
liking. We just have to grin and bear it and stick it out. The awful
thing is at the moment I feel we can get beaten by anyone.

Wenger does need to change his policies and like you fear we may
lose our good players if the season goes on like this.

He has a great youth academy the envy of many but we need
experienced players to blend in with them all.

So do agree with alot that you said. I was just trying to point out
to Homer that some of us have been through some rotten times
but are still supporting our club.

Although Wenger brought a lot of good things to the club its time for
him to reignite for the sake of Arsenal and all their fans.

Incidentally do feel we have not had the best of luck, Lehman
getting sent off in the C.L. final and Eduardo's awful injury in a game
which ended up in a last minute penalty fiasco that helped to cost
us the league and put out for months a great little striker. Hear
he is back on training bless him, hope he comes back good as
new and is a lucky charm for us.

Can things get worse? well at least we don't have the Spurs
goalie, blimey they moaned about Robinson!

So chin up everyone, that is until next Saturday :laughcry:

Nice 1 Kay, spot on post.

We all know Homer can be over the top with his emotions on here, but as you say, we have to grin and bare it for now.

I'm 30, almost 31, and have supported Arsenal since the age of 4, so have been through the good and bad times, and I try and support my team by getting to as many games as possible.

Come on Arsenal!
