I have more respect for Burley who hasn't materialised into a balloon.

Also, Burley got closer to winning the Premier League with Ipswich than any manager has with Liverpool. That is a FACT.
Scholes

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Winner.

So Liverpool finishing second means they've put up a bigger title challenge than a fifth-finishing Ipswich does it? NO.

Ipswich never made a challenge.

I remember that season well, they were in and around the top 3 for large periods of the season but faltered towards the end. They finished 14 points off the top eventually and 4 points off second. Not even Allardyce, Moyes etc. could manage that and they both had better teams. Show some respect.

I am showing respect and I remember they had a striker called Marcus Stewart who banged in 30 goals that season and the lads were amazing.
