I like the way you all dismiss us, lets keep it that way.

They way i see it is this, the Liverpool defence is back on top now having kept 2 clean sheets against 2 difficult teams. Torres and Keane back on Saturday.

So a win at Tottenham hopefully and then i expect Liverpool to get 21/21 points, a draw at tottenham then 19/21 points in the next 7 games before we meet Arsenal.

United have Arsenal next week, so if thats a draw or loss for Utd, i cant see them winning the title, a win will keep them in it and probably destroy Arsenals hopes as that will put them behind Utd depending on what happens this weekend.

Well i actually said this last nigt on another thread, considering the teams we are playing against i dont think its impossible, most probably improbable.

Think spurs will be the toughest game we have until we meet Arsenal in 8 games time.

Expecting at least 19/21 points could be setting yourself up for a fall. I think you will drop some points along the way to the game against Arsenal so maybe 15 or 17/21.

I can't see Liverpool winning their next seven games, remember that United are always stronger in the second half of the season and therefore they are probably deservedly second favourites. Liverpool drop easy points, thats their problem.

Chelsea look strong and its hard to see them lose too many games but if they let their foot off the gas one bit we will be ready to overtake

Plenty of games still to play and plenty of clashes between title rivals so there will be points dropped.

We will challenge though im sure because we have the most balanced squad and our 1st team is formidable in both defence and attack.

But not the greatest midfield or keeper

I think Foster will emerge this season and whoever we put in wont have loads to do with that defence parked in front of him.

Scholes, Carrick, Hargreaves, Fletcher, Giggs, Anderson and Possebon is not a bad choice of players to fill 2 positions.

Yeah, im not saying your midfield is bad, but its got lost of good players, instead of lost of top class players which i think Chelsea and Liverpool both have (moreso the former obviosuly). Scholes is the only really good player and i dont trust him to stay fit.

I like the fact we have players for all types of games and as long as they know the system they're playing i dont mind if they aren't world class tbh.

Look at Fletcher for example, lets be honest he is nothing special but he knows his place in the team and is very reliable.

If we had another "World Class" player our team would need to be accustomed to suit his world class strengths and it would imbalance the team.

Players like Fletcher and Carrick do a wonderful job without being spectacular.

Yeah, good point, i suppose it can have its advantages, and it allows you're flair players up front to play to their strengths. You'd still want a top class player in there though imo, someone to replace Scholes.
