Lucky with injury!?!? You mean "not unlucky" im presuming? I wouldnt call being able to play a whole season for the first time in his career "lucky".

Messi was shit tonight.

Very picky...but it makes sense. He has a a growth problem and is an injury-prone player...he'll need a bit of luck to steer clear of serious injury this season.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

1. He is irreplaceable.

2. This isn't fantasy football.

As for the topic, he does not look out of sorts. Last night he was pretty poor but against West Brom he was terrific. His overall game has improved vastly and I look forward to more brilliance from the man this season.

Told you.
