after the dismal away turnout of chelsea fans at boro, the club have decided to try to encourage fans to go to their away game at hull city by providing free travel...............what next free tickets or maybe the russian will purchase cut outs to fill the usual empty seats, chelsea once a small club always a small club :hysterics:

Fair play to Abramovich and the folk at Chelsea for trying to up the support of thier club.

But money can buy you most things, it cant buy you enough fans. It can buy the glory hunters but glory hunters wont travel.

The club has proper fans and glory hunters, You know who you are, And even though some real fans wont go to away games NO glory hunters go to away games.

And if glory hunters is whats topping up the numbers poor Chelsea have no chance of getting them to travel.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Given the price of tickets, travel and food these days is it any wonder the turnouts are so poor, Especially Boro, how far is that from London.

You've also got to take into account these top 4 teams are generally playing twice a week. Thats alot of money

Free travel will always encourage fans because it means no driving or no cost travel and you can have a piss up.

it's illegal to drink on coaches these days, But it still goes on.

Dont think it will be price of coach travel tbh,

Ticket prices are thing that need looking at
