Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Roma are a shocking team
I saw Victor Moses score a better goal at the w/k then that.

Great header so brave, i wouldn't have thought he would risk messing up his hair with that attempt but he did.

One of his most impressive goals of his time at Utd.

as a player who myself was good in the air, that was a great run onto the cross and a fantastically brave header, great goal

Mate, at first I thought it was just good, but looking back it is nothing short of majestic.

It all starts with good ball retention from Carrick; O'Shea receives the ball and plays a lovely threated ball into Rooney; who drops the shoulder and turns wonderfully, shortly before laying Scholes in; Scholes then plays in an exquisite floating ball to which Ronaldo glides through the air so bravely yet so elegantly, before bulletting home.

As for the goal you posted, that was pure improvisation, Berbatov does similar things, but that was superb I must admit.

Victor Moses is a real talent. Can you post a video of the goal?

Good goal Scholsey, but let's face it, it was the end product of practicing on the training ground firing all balls in areas that Ronaldo could do some damage from. It's what helped him score as many goals as he did last season, and one reason Rooney didn't get much service.

Ronaldo last season was number 1 player to pass or cross the ball to, just like Henry used to be for Arsenal!

Good goal nonetheless, but not increadible for the above reasons listed. His free-kick against Pompey...now THAT was increadible.

His free-kick was just one kick (albeit a majestic free-kick with UNIQUE technique)...whereas the goal I posted was a beautiful team move finished with almost a super-human leap. It was more important too, away from home, in Italy, quarters of the CL.

Fair enough view Scholsey, I just think it's good, not increadible. I don't another player on the planet that arches his body over the ball and create enough pace and power and control it so it dips at exactly the right moment, like his free kick against Pompey.

And Bendtner scored a similar goal to the Ronaldo header against Spurs at the Emirate last season, which again I thought was good, but nothing special...Arsenal v Spurs...a huge game also.

Bendtner's header is the third on that vid...

It was a great jump but Ronaldo's goal actually had good build-up, plus Ronaldo wasn't even in the picture when Wayne Rooney laid Scholes in...Ronaldo sprinted from 40 yards and seemed to hang in the air for an eternity, it was unreal.

His goal against Pompey was terrific routing such a great keeper to the spot.
