Boro - Chelsea

Boro put in the worst Premiership performance I have ever had the displeasure of witnessing. I rate Boro and think they'll bounce back but that was embarrassing. Saying that, Chelsea were superb. It was like a training session at times, even around the 18 yard box. Amazing passing and movement, Frank Lampard the orchestrator - what a goal he scored too.

It just shows what a squad they have when fielding quality like Kalou and Belletti, the latter of which was complete class. Another toe-punt special.

United - WBA

My first home game of the season and what a treat. Darren Fletcher was utterly superb - great distribution. Giggs also looked settled at CM. Rooney is coming into his own now and is full of confidence, amazing link-up play and movement all game, and he's not operating as a second striker, Berbatov seems to drop deeper. Special mention to Rio Ferdinand who produced yet another masterclass in defence :) Ronaldo was also exellent, his overall game is much improved.

Liverpool - Wigan

I rate Wigan highly and they showed why...Valencia was idiotic and that may have cost them. I'm getting sick of Liverpool comebacks  Dirk Kuyt to the rescue AGAIN...though Kirkland should've saved the winner.

Arsenal - Everton

Thank-God we don't have to see Homer explode...for now :tremble:

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

It was a good performance, Fletcher played brilliantly don't you think? Classy display.

Did you get in late and miss the first half?

Winner.
