LMAO, Pirlo, Scholes, and Lamps are nowhere near close to Cesc. Xavi is the only one who compares, but Cesc is better...

Agreed again Dag. Although Pirlo is equal to Cesc if you ask me, Lampard and Scholes aren't even on the same ball park.

Homer, you are extremely fickle, you are a genuine part timer, and like someone else said you mistake whining for passion. And don't pretend you're not biased as you are, not always against Arsenal though, once you get an idea in your head it will stay there and nobody will remove that bias from you.

In my lifetime City have been down to division 1, 2, 1 and Premier again, and throughout the whole way I was supporting them and giving them my all, backing every decision the club made. That is a real fan, not some lad who writes ten paragraphs in capital letters just because you lost a game, try being in fucking division 2 mate and losing games, then you'll feel what it's really like to be a passionate fan.

Being an Arsenal fan you face the 3 S words STRUGGLE SUFFERING AND SOLIDARITY and every Arsenal game for me is like a battle in the trenches so I am always fired up and so that can be bad and good. Bad because my anger turns into hatred but good because I am commited and hungry but believe me I am a hardcore fan and I wear Arsenal on my heart and you can see that with the passion I have. I always try and be positive but you have to be realistic at times and voice your anger to let off some steam as I am so desperate for Arsenal to do well against all the odds and everygame I will be there for Arsenal and give them my support but criticism is part of football.

Oooooh no deary me so much suffering with Arsenal, what on earth will happen to you if you only finish 4th, what a shambles. Get a grip lad, like I said, try getting relegated to Division 2 and see your side lose 0-3 away to Blackpool, that gives you something to moan about soft lad not a fukin 3rd place league finish.

You're not passionate at all you're a part time, over excited teen who probably cares more about what your mates will say to you rather than how well the club does. Writing a shit load of essays like ''IM SO PUMPED FOR THIS GAME WE MUST WIN OR IM GONNA BE DEVOSTATED'' means nothing.

what a fvcking joke, since you,ve been an arse fan they havent finished outside the top four so dont try and use words like "struggle" and "suffering" because when it comes to football you have no idea what these words mean.your whining when you dont get your own way shows a huge lack of maturity and your attempts to justify these outbursts makes you look pathetic, you are a fickle glory hunter.

:greatpost: - Goslow. With regards to Cesc, I refer to a point I made on another forum when comparing Cesc and Lampard.

To be fair, they're totally different types of central midifielder. Combined they equal Paul Scholes, but in isolation ones a goalscoring midfielder and ones a goal making midfielder. Fabregas is more important to the way his team plays but Lampard has a more decisive influence on his teams results. Overall I'd say they're fairly even. Lampard though has perfomed consistently well for a number of years and Fabregas hasn't performed consistently well for a single season. Right now Lampard wins but Fabregas is potentially the better player.

As I've said many times, potential does not equate to actual ability. If Fabregas really was the best midfielder in the world then he would have operated at a high level for at least a whole season, and not just from August to the beggining of November. If we based assessments of quality on anything less than a season than Arsenal would have been the best team in England and Europe last season.

To be fair though, expectancy has to come into the equation, and Arsenal's is much higher than Cardiff's/City's etc....

Homer's random outbursts are funny though and it's just his way of releasing that tension/hurt he gets from losing games. I don't think you can question his love and passion for the club even if he does come out with comical comments in the heat of the moment.
Scholes

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Ant dont ever speak to me again because what you just said is an insult and shows you have no idea about me or football. If I was a Man City fan 8 years ago my exceptations would have been lower and if we lost a game I wouldnt have minded as much as I do with Arsenal because I know that with Arsenal losing a game is a disaster esp against smaller teams at home. If Arsenal finished 5th it would be a disaster but if Man City finished 5th it would be their best season for many decades so the expectations are different. Dont you dare question my love for the club again and when we play you I hope we fucking do you as you have made me angry.
