Speculation over the future of Argentine forward Carlos Tevez has been rife over the last week.

Reports have suggested that Real Madrid are waiting to pounce on the 24-year-old should United get into a muddle over his permanent capture.

The Old Trafford club must pay €37 million to Tevez's management company MSI, or risk losing him.

Meanwhile, the player was pointing the finger at Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson. He was quoted as saying that the Scot is failing to get the best out of him.

Regardless, United remain bullish with regards to their long-term plans for the former West Ham man. Now, Tevez has now come out of his closet, doing what Cristiano Ronaldo failed to do this summer: denying an exit strategy.

"I have not given any interviews saying I have any difficulties in the Premier League," he said. "I have absolutely no idea where the reports came from.

"I am not worried where I play on the pitch, nor do I feel any extra pressure playing in the Premier League compared to other leagues."

I personally love Tevez hes a quality player who gives it his all for the team and the fans on the pitch, cant ask any more from him then that.

Good player, showed signs of brilliance in August and September...sort of fizzled out a bit now. He's the best shielder of a ball I've ever seen, so tenacious...he's become more hotheaded than Rooney though...needs to relax a little.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

I used to think Tevez was miles better, but this new SS role has revitalised Rooney, so i think Tevez may have to get used to playing on the bench, especially if Rooney countiues his current form.

Winner.

Hopefully Rooney can continue his current form but he has this spate of great form every October (check his stats). Tevez is a very good player and a complete workhorse. I hope he stays and we can rotate the forwards.

tevez will be a united player for a while yet im convinced about that, its the press again trying to unsettle a player as they always do, tevez has more nous about him than most though and will pass it off for the crap it is

Im not sure what Tevez will do, he is 24/25 now his loan runs till the end of next season when he will be 26 or so. He has also said he will return to Boca at a prime age and not when he is in his 30's.

The way i see it is he will be ousted from the team by Rooney who is starting to rediscover his form as i predicted, Rooney and Berba will be lethal and Tevez wont be breaking them up.

I think we WONT buy him in January, i reckon Tevez will wait until the end of the season when he sees how many games he features in and he will then know how much we value him.

It will drag on into next season and when he sees he is still not 1st choice which i expect to be the case, he will announce he is leaving at the end of his loan, i just cant see us spending Ł30m on a player who is so similar to the Rooney we already have.

Oh is it? i thought it was a 3 year loan. Maybe he will sign for a bit longer, 2 years is nothing in football and he will want to prove himself some more.

He did say he will go back to Boca and he strikes me as someone who will keep his word about that and i wouldn't rule out him wanting to try out spanish football as his physical nature would stand out more so over there.

I like Tevez and he deserves to be a regular and i would rather see him fulfilling his potential than sitting on our bench.

He's a top player but to be honest I think that we could get a player as good for less than Ł30mn, or spend the money on a couple of top drawer youngsters. Either way I'd be happy. All I know is that, contrary to some views, he won't be signing for Man City.
