I blame Wenger for this. Had we kept Flamini and Hleb or at least bought experienced quality replacements for them we'd be in a much better position now. I agree with Homer Wenger wants attention and he lives for the praise he recieves. Cesc has every right to vent his frustrations, he's given us a lot over the years and he's an absolute winner. He won't stay in a team that can't win sheet and a manager too stubborn to sign players his team badly needs.

CESC FABREGAS SNUBS £90,000 A WEEK
Arsenal ace holds out as Barca and Real wait

CESC FABREGAS - no deal

CESC FABREGAS has rejected new £90,000-a-week contract talks at Arsenal — paving the way for him to quit the Emirates at the end of the season.

Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid have been put on alert after Fabregas turned down the chance to renegotiate his existing deal.

The Gunners want to offer Fabregas (left) a £35,000- a-week pay hike plus a two-year extension to his deal, which runs until 2014.

They want to make him the club’s highest-paid player and tie their prized asset to an improved deal in keeping with his status as one of the finest young players in the world.

But Fabregas, 21, has put off talks as he wants to see what Barcelona and Real Madrid offer next summer.

His present deal, which was signed two years ago and has annual increases built in, still leaves him a long way short of the club’s top earners William Gallas, Emmanuel Adebayor and boss Arsene Wenger, who all pocket £80,000-a-week.

Fabregas wants to command a regular starting place in the national team.

He expects to earn around £100,000-a-week at Arsenal if he stays — but believes Real Madrid will bid around £40million for him if they can’t get Cristiano Ronaldo.

There will come a point when surely he will say "ok I have had many great years at Arsenal but I need to join a team that can win titles" and for me at end of the season when we win f-k all again he might just do this.

when were his great years? had one good half season

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart
