There will come a point when surely he will say "ok I have had many great years at Arsenal but I need to join a team that can win titles" and for me at end of the season when we win f-k all again he might just do this.

You'll win the FA or Carling Cup don't worry.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

I highly doubt it will be at the end of this season. We will win something, but even if we don't I don't think he would leave this season.

Maybe after he is given captaincy and we still don't win he will leave...

I think if we win nothing, then he will go. I mean, what has he won at Arsenal?

Love for a club can keep you there only for so long. He's young, regarded as one of the top 10 Central midfielders in the world, and is ambitious. At the end of the day, he'd be silly to stay if we win nothing again...and I cannot see things change while Wenger is there.

Come summer, we'll sign yet another kid being tagged as the next Zidane or Maradona...Wenger just will not sign the proven talent we need, and all the while we lose more and more key players.

Trouble with Wenger is by the time these young kids become good they get sold on and this will keep going round in circles.

Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas criticises Arsene Wenger's reliance on youth
Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has issued an attack on Arsene Wenger's youth policy, suggesting it has jeopardised the club's of winning the Premier League title.

Fabregas believes Arsenal's team is too young and lacks crucial experience.

Alexander Hleb, Mathieu Flamini and Gilberto Silva have all been sold on, while Czech Republic international Tomas Rosicky has a long-term knee injury.

That means Arsenal's current first-choice midfield is usually Fabregas, Denilson, Samir Nasri and Theo Walcott - the average age being just 20.

Fabregas is the older statesman of the quartet - having joined Arsenal from Barcelona when he was only 16 - and is starting to feel the burden of responsibility.

He said: "Our squad is a bit short on numbers and we are very young. It's hard to imagine a midfield where I am the oldest member.

"We find it very hard to win matches, as we don't possess enough experience.

"I scored 13 goals last season but then I had plenty of allies. Rosicky was around, Flamini covered every blade of grass and Hleb was like a brother to me out there.

"The team played with a lot of skilful touches, we were as solid as a brick wall and our opponents would not get a look in.

"Now none of those players and in the side and I feel like a rare being. We are more defensive-minded and sturdy as a team but we don't play so much skilful stuff."

Arsenal have already lost to Hull and Fulham this season and only a late Fabregas goal saved them from a third Premier League defeat of the campaign, against Sunderland in their last match.

The Spain international is recognised as the lynchpin of the Arsenal team, but there are fears he may return to Barca soon.

Fabregas has admitted to struggling at times with life in England, and said: "The hardest part of playing here was having to leave my family behind when I was so young.

"I had to endure all my problems by myself and my adolescene passed me by."

To add necessary experience to the Arsenal midfield, Wenger is targeting Barcelona's Yaya Toure, brother of Kolo, in the January transfer window.

Juventus are also reportedly interested, and Toure said: "Wenger and Kolo called in the summer to convince about this chance, but at that moment I was happy at Barcelona."

Toure's agent, Dimitri Selluk, said: "Yaya does not have a problem with Barcelona, but his only desire is to play regularly and therefore he wants to see if he is in their plans."

I could not have said it better myself we are so much weaker this season.

Hence my point, and it's this kind of comment that is paving the way for Fabregas and others to jump ship...ALL thanks to Wenger's stupid idiotic and failing policies!

"We find it very hard to win matches, as we don't possess enough experience.

This is exactly why I get nervous before the game no matter who we play because while Chelsea and Man Utd beat the small teams with ease we seem to badly struggle and Cesc comments for me suggest he is leaving.

I'm dreading this season tbh, another fruitless campaign and this summer we won't just lose Cesc, but other key players imo.

We are a feeder club, and Wenger MUST go...he's lost the plot completely now.

The moment Patrick Vieria left should have been the moment when AW left because since then he has destroyed this team by not spending and bringing in too much god dam youngsters. He is doing this so he can go wow look at me arent I great? he is doing this for himself rather than the club which is the most important thing. We arent even playing nice fluid football anymore so at end of the season I will be calling for Wenger to leave.

He'll stay for another couple of years. 2/3 unless you win the PL or CL.

He'll come when we want him, ie when Xavi is no longer doing the business. Now though, there is simply no point in buying him as it would only cause problems, maybe 2-3 years min.

Also, encouraging to hear Toure's agent's statement. PLAY HIM PEP

Winner.

"If I go to Anfield and someone puts the ball into the box and Carragher hammers it out of play the fans applaud. At Camp Nou you would never be applauded for that." - Xavi
