Lets be honest they have dominated Irish football for a long long time but since they got relegated it appears they are a fading force and will always be behind Shamrock Rovers.

had a couple of good seasons along with st pats and bohs, it's a real topsy turvy league tbh every year some team emerges so they could win more titles for sure

im more concerned with rovers returning to being the best team in ireland because they are without doubt the biggest team in the country

we werent relegated,we were demoted because we went into administration.coming second in the first division and its very close between us and dundalk for the league.

as manyoo said many teams can win the eircom league one year it could be bohs, the next some team could come out of nowhere like drogheda and win it.

demoted and relegated are not the same thing.relegated is when you finish at the very bottom of the league.demotion is when you are kicked down a league or two for financial reason and all that.

have you ever watched shelbourne play homer.if not you cant make comments like that because its not true

I have only seen Shelbourne 2 times on setanta but they have this buy goon up front trying to head every ball a bit like Crouch.

Yeah the irish league is very unpredictable with bohs, rovers, pats, derry, drogs, cork and shels(up until their relegation) with realistic chances of winning it. Very strange league.

BTW, any1 see how close drogheda came to knocking out Kiev in the CL?
