LMAO, I'm sure Raul dived there then got up immediately...

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Great first half from us. Did everything but score. Walcott looked very dangerous and his close control seems to have improved a lot. He will have a big year. He is very dangerous running at players and brings a lot of directness to our play, something we need. Genuine width and brilliant on the break. Also, seems much better with his back to players. Seems a lot stronger.

Denilson will be the man to partner Cesc this season. Has been everywhere breaking up attacks and his distribution has been pinpoint. He can anticipate attacks and break them up that way, something Flamini couldnt do. All this after playing 90 mins yesterday!!!

Diaby has been lackluster. He was very good yesterday but his passes have not had enough weight on them and he is taking too long on the ball. Could be rustiness, but he needs to up his performance if he wants to be a starter. The talent is there, he just needs to get it together.

Van Persie has done some really good things linking play and his vision has been good. A few things that normally would come off for him havent. Put it down to match sharpness.

Adebayor has been pretty good. His touch and passing have improved a lot. He will be very good again this season and prove he isnt a flash in the pan.

Nasri has also been good. Surprised by how hard he works. Good running at player and tries to beat a man, unlike Hleb. Good passer and will fit in very nicely. Will have no problems adapting IMO.

Impressive from Arsenal, they just need to learn to produce a final pass, but then again, thats something they havent been able to do cosistently for four years.

Real are unfit due to only having been i pre-season for a week or two, whereas Arsenal have been in for a month +. Also, they were without their five best players in the fist half, three of om are now on...

Winner.
