Kompany is not better than what we got and IS NOT what we need in a new CB. Chiellini or Zapata is what we need. |

He should splash the cash on Hamsik, Veloso or Banega for the holding role, on Chiellini or Richards for defence and Adler or Neuer for between the sticks. |

I would rather have Big Phil. This guy makes RVP look like Iron Man. |

Hamsik is great but is too attacking. Veloso would be my number one target but will cost 15M. Banega is also too attacking IMO. I say either get Veloso or let Diaby/Denilson playe next to Cesc. |

Veloso would be the best option, but either of the other 2 would be much better than what you presently have. |

I think that this season is the key. Win either the CL or EPL and you will be set to do battle with Man Utd and Chelsea for ALL of the games major honours, win nothing and the team will fall apart. I don't think that this Arsenal team will change the face of football, as Fabregas claimed, nor do I think that they will dominate either the EPL or Europe in the manner that Ajax or Liverpool did. I do however think that this team could become the greatest ever Arsenal side. |

I have faith Diaby or Denilson can do the job. Nobody thought Flamini would step up. And Wenger rates Denilson/Diaby higher than Mathieu. |

Diaby is a poor player imo and Denilson is not spikey enough. |

Diaby is not poor. He is very talented and his horrendous injury set him back. THis is a big season for him and if he is the man to play CM he will do a great job. Remember the CC final were he completely outclassed Essien and Lamps??? |

I remember the numerous games in which he looked clumsy and was easy to shake off the ball. |

Thats because he was playing LW. He looks much better in his natural position and you will see how good a player he is if he gets a run in the team. I had my doubts of him playing in the middle but seeing him today he looked much more comfortable in CM. He provides that drive and directness we need and has a hell of a strike on him. Denilson was pure class today though. Needs a bit more strength though. |

He did look better today, I'll give you that. Denilson still doesn't look spikey enough for me though. |
