Liverpool have announced the signing of teenage striker David Ngog from Paris Saint Germain. The 19-year-old Frenchman has penned a four-year deal at Anfield and arrives for an undisclosed fee. Ngog, who is a cousin of former Newcastle United defender Jean-Alain Boumsong, impressed at Parc Des Princes last term, despite the Ligue 1 club's poor form. The youngster becomes manager Rafa Benitez's fourth signing of the summer following the captures of Andrea Dossena, Diego Cavalieri and Philipp Degen. Is this guy any use? I haven't seen much of him but i hear he is pretty useful. |

Hopefully Liverpool are depending on him to bridge the gap in the premiership and he turns out just like his cousin! |

came on for PSG against Valencia in the emirates cup, have to say he looked damn good too, got on the score sheet and played well against a valencia team that had a fair amount of first teamers in it. Very good international record and has been scoring well at all youth levels too. Don't think its too fair to look at his scoring record for PSG last season, they were atrocious overall and only made 16th in the league and i think even their top scoring forward only managed about 5 goals. |

I wonder what youth squad number he'll be getting, I'm afraid the numbers 1-467 are already taken. |
