There are too many, a lot of them will be spoiled by the sheer number of players they are in competition with.

Yeh, but this Arsenal performance is merely average.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Technique.

aye, that narrows it down,

technique in what, technique in holding the ball, passing the ball, getting into space?

Technical ability is a massively vague term, it means the square root of bugger all to me. I can happily say that our youth has shed loads of technical ability in them, but its hardly defining of what actually makes them good players.

We have Darby who's tackling, vision, positioning and passing is exceptional, is that technical ability?

Spearing who is a midfield maestro controlling the middle of the park, tackling, passing, breaking up play and holding the ball up, superb a through balls, is that technical ability?

Most of these kids already played in Arsenal's first team unlike Liverpool and all these kids adapt to our style of play and no team has the pass the interchange the movement the skills of this lot.

Technique in possession Jimmy. Nothing to do with movement or strength, but the ability to execute a variety of passes. I suppose first touch comes under this category too.

I have been really annoyed by Liverpool's approach recently. They have signed a ridiculous amount of youth players in the hope that a few make it. At least Chelsea and Arsenal sign a few stars and not a squad worth of foreign kids.

Dribbling and general ability with the ball would be considered technical aswell. Touch, passing, set pieces and obviously, the actual technique of the player would have to be accounted for.

Yep, dribbling too. Basically, it's the ability to manipulate the ball. Movement, pace, strength aren't involved.
