Sunderland are winning 3-1 after goals from O'Donovan, NOSWORTHY! and Stokes. Good result so far with Chopra and Roy Keane sent off. :D

No, nor Moutinho. Not that good anyway.

Veloso not that good? He is a quality holding player IMO. Would easily have him partner Cesc if it were up to me...
I am soft.

Very promising performance. I said this alot last season: Sunderland are onnly a matter of 4 maybe 5 players at the most off a good side.

Sunderland can really establish themselves in the top flight wit 3 or 4 more qualiy additions. Chimbonda and Malbranque would be cracking signings for Sunderland IMO.

Chimbonda, Malbranque and a forward would sort us out. A CM aswell.

And as usual, the greatest comeback kings ever win yet another game in the last 10 minutes. Christ, Keane must be a brilliant motivator. :D

Sunderland can get top 10 this season if they spend well.

I think we'll finish around 12th.

Gordon

Bardsley Nosworthy Collins Chimbonda

Malbranque Whitehead/Tainio Reid Richardson

That could be our team next season, we still need another forward or maybe even two.

JONES AND BENT

Yep. Jones is injured for 2 months though so we'll still need another forward.

Not to take anything away from the result, but Sporting have only just got back into pre-season and therefore will have lacked fitness. This could be a reason for the late goals...and the weakened team.

But still, "you can only beat what's in front of you" as they say.

Reid should be dropped, not Whitehead, he's a fat sack of crap.

I think 14th for Sunderland this season would be good for Sunderland with the new Spurs players. Top 10 is acheivable though am im sure that's where Keane will be aiming.

Winner.
