I would still say Toni is better than him in the Bundesliga, and Podolski doesn't have enough chances with Munchen. due to Injuries and playing understudy, getting the substitue appearances.

He is shite, but thrives in the Bundesliga, its an easy league, if Gomez can prove himself at international level or in a harder league, then i'll give him credit.

I don't think Barca, unless he has another good season in Germany, maybe a team like Villareal or maybe even Milan, since they will more than likely be heading back into the CL, and wanting a new team.

Barca were heavily linked awhile back. He would be perfect for the CF role in the 433. Him uptop with Bojan and Messi would be deadly.

Would work well, who would you play on the right and left, personally i would go,

-------Ade/Gomez---------
Messi ---------------Bojan

That's if they get Gomez or Ade, as i can't see Eto'o staying.

Spurs have knocked back Manchester United’s £20m bid for Dimitar Berbatov – because they want £35m for the Bulgarian striker.

Tottenham base their valuation on a £33m offer they received from Manchester City in January.

But a compromise of £25m is likely to be agreed before the closure of next month’s transfer window.

Spurs know that Berbatov, 27, is determined to go and United are confident of clinching the signing of manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s top transfer target.

And that’s because they know the White Hart Lane club need to raise cash to chase their own targets.

Manager Juande Ramos needs £17m to fund his pursuit of Blackburn’s David Bentley (below) and £11m for Espanyol striker Luis Garcia.

The club’s official line last night was that their position on both Berbatov and Robbie Keane – who is wanted by Liverpool – has not changed.

A club source insisted Spurs do not want to sell and said neither star has handed in a request.

But it is understood Ramos has sanctioned the sale to fund his spending and chairman Daniel Levy will now await an improved offer from United.

Barcelona are also after Berbatov, but it would be a huge surprise if he didn’t end up at Old Trafford.

Fergie intends making only one major signing this summer and that’s Berbatov, whose
skill and finishing is much admired by the Scot.

And the Old Trafford faithful will welcome the shift in emphasis from the long, drawn-out Cristiano Ronaldo transfer saga to the chase for Berbatov.

SPURS ARE TAKING A LEAF OUT OF OUR BOOK WOULDNT IT BE IRONIC IF WE KEPT ADE AND SPURS LOST KEANE AND BERBATOV

Spurs fans are already putting too mcuh pressure for getting top 4. I think they will be let down again by a cup manager.

Also, I hear Berba to United will be completed next week for 25M.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

I think that will be the only United purchase this summer. You lot still have to sign Tevez permanently. If I was Fergie I wouldnt. Would see how he does this season first. I think he is very overrated TBH.

I don't think 20 million is too bad a price for Berbatov honestly.
As far as Tevez goes, we still have another year to make a decision on him. If we can get berbatov this summer, then we can seal Tevez up in Jan or even next year, depending on the cash from Ronaldo's transfer.
