Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

I don't know about that mate. He will always be remembered as a MUFC legend, lets keep it that way. I don't think King Eric will take too kindly to being second fiddle to anyone either, not even SAF.

Carlos Quieroz will be missed, but the club will move on. A bigger problem will be finding a successor for SAF as I had thought he would likely take it up.
When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.

He would only be second for 2 or 3 years and he wouls have the master teaching him, if Stevie Bruce and Sparky can manage Prem clubs I'm sure Eric would thrive!! He is still young enough to teach skills as well, look what an influence he had on Becks, Scoles, etc. when he played for us!!

Yeah, you have a point there. It would be a boost for the players to have such a great man at the club, whether next to SAF or on his own.
Lol, imagine him and Jose slugging it out in front of the press.
Sardines, and trawlers, eh ?

i wish him all the best, i was unsure of him at the start like most fans but he's grown on me, he must have had a great influence on the team too as we won the league in his first season at the club, went a bit downhill when he left and improved more and more since he returned to the club.

Something I missed earlier, what will be the effect on Anderson, Nani and Ronaldo ? Common knowledge that Queiroz is like a father-figure to them, with his knowledge of Portugese. We might need to be in somebody else who can do a bit of that.
