Why are you so confident of top 4? 3rd/4th really is between 4/5 sides. It's the most worried I've been about not finishing in the top 4.

Tottenham and Liverpool are improving, we're in decent form and have a lot of players coming back from injury and we can't write off Southampton anymore.

We're there now, we're become extremely hard to beat and we've got the quality to maintain and further our form.

You're behind Southampton and 1 point ahead of us, It's hardly like you're in a comfortable position.

I don't see Southampton being a threat to be honest, and I'd definitely say we are in a comfortable position. We are ahead of all of our main threats in the table with some very winnable fixtures coming up. With the quality that we have, that should be enough which is why I'm fairly confident.

Van Gaal's United are absolutely appalling to watch. Boring football, slow, no invention. A mess. And he spent untold millions on it.

At this stage I don't get how you can write off Southampton. I've not seen the United fixture list so I can't comment on that but this years race for the top 4 is too open for any one of the 5 sides mentioned to be certain of a place.

Because it's unlikely their squad will be able to maintain such good form for the full 38 games, and are also very inexperienced at closing out such an important position. We have a squad filled with title winners and a manager that has transitioned top sides back to their former glory before. If you don't think I should be confident then that's your opinion, cos I really can't be arsed repeating myself for the next 4 pages, but after weighing up a number of factors from all sides around the top 4 I believe we have the best chance of securing it.

Fair points but after seeing what Atleti did last season it shows the right set of players and manager can accomplish an achievement out of the ordinary. All factors, so you know every one of the 5 sides fixtures lists do you?

Everyone has tough games, we're only 3 games into the second half of the season. The point is, until March we have a chance to create a gap by winning the games we should and build form for our tougher runs.

We've just gone past the half way point in the season so I could probably take a stab in the dark about the remaining fixtures.

Chrissy said their current run of games are quite easy so when the games are played and if they're home or away plays a part. If you're going to be sarcastic don't make it so easy to shoot down because that's not fun.

I reckon we'll draw with Boro today. Definitely won't be easy.

Yeah they've lost once in the last 13 apparently but with it being at the Etihad you should win and if you don't your owners need to rethink the trip to Abu Dhabi next January.
