Bosses often say that they will assess the league table and see where they are after 10 games. With 10 games gone , are you still confident in your team to have a successful season and have you changed your mind over who will make top 4 and who will be relegated?

After what has been a rather traumatic start to the season, things seemed to have levelled out for us and I think we are in fairly good position. 99% sure of qualification from the CL Group, Alexis hitting good form and key players slowly coming back, and a solid foothold in the table. The only downside is how far away Chelsea are from us but it was always optimistic to think we woukld compete with them for the title.

Giroud coming back.
Ramsey came back quicker than thought
Walcott is back.
Alexis has been deadly

Overall we are where I guessed we'd be, lingering around 4th position, with Chelsea leading by a large number of points, while we put on a large number of sour, slow, boring, nonchalant displays with multiple injuries occurring.

The season will depend on the fitness of the defenders. A serious injury to Per, and we could be hit very hard and suffer for it.

All in all, it's just like every other season: Just not good enough to win the league.

What are your thoughts Philip? Where do you think Pool will finish?

Looking like a battle for 4th place is the most we can hope for. Just pray to god we dont finish 3rd in our CL group. Saying that , if we get Sturridge back and keep him fit for the remainder of the season i think we will be 4th comfortably. only being 3 points off 4th now with how badly we've been playing isnt the end of the world, but we need to dramatically improve, if we can somehow fluke a scrappy win over Chelsea at Anfield then it could kickstart our season but i just dont see it happening at the moment.

though that said, 3rd place in our CL group would give us another avenue to get in next seasons CL , if we win the EL. Would also be nice to get a trophy on the board in the COC, but that would be no consolation for finishing outside the top 4

We've improved a lot in terms of our performances, something that hasn't reflected as much with our results.

We are a better side than we've ever been, our results need to start showing that, West Ham clawing back to 2-2 from 2-0 down and completely dominating is unacceptable and is uncharacteristic of a Stoke team, if we can be as solid as we always were and continue our positive attacking performances, we can finish even higher this season. Bojan gave me a glimmer of hope in his last game, I thought he was going to flop after Diouf out-shined him in the early games but if he performs like he did against West Ham all season, he will have no problem securing a position in our side and becoming a threat to most teams. Shawcross has been amazing as per, luckily every big team seems to overlook him so we'll keep hold of him through his best years which are still to come.

Manchester United are level on points with West Brom. Don't get me wrong I think Alan Irvine is doing a great job there, but United have spent £150m on new players and that is unacceptable. When are we going to start asking serious questions of Louis van Gaal if questions were asked of Moyes so early on?

With a bit of luck on the injury front I think we can mount a challenge for the top two and make it to the QFs of the CL.

Would Arsenal finishing 3rd and reaching the CL QFs be deemed a failure?

Sacking offence on mine.

The results havent been good but there is a plan, a style of play being implemeted thats starting to shine through. We are improving but if we continue at this pace we will get left behind in the race for 4th. If we dont have our shit sorted by jan/feb then ill start panicking.

Obviously not considering Wenger went near on a decade trophyless and still managed to keep his job.

You have changed your tune again, you were one of Wenger's biggest arse licking cunts.

FA Cup final is the same day as the Copa Del Rey final. I hope I don't have to miss Arsenal.
