This so called Reus replacement is a RW as well ffs. Reus wouldn't go Madrid, Hazard is going to be Ronaldo's replacement.

Hazard isn't leaving Chelsea while Mourinho is still there.

It really is hard to say where Reus is gonna go. Bayern is an obvious answer but Reus and Lewandowski aren't Pep players IMO.

Why do you say Reus isn't a Guardiola player? He seems like an improved Villa/Pedro to me...

Guardiola teams (or any team for that matter) needs some players who stand still and others who attack space. Bayern probably have too many of the former tbh, which is why Pep has never been able to find a midfield he really likes.

I think Reus is talented and intelligent enough to develop that part of his game but I don't think it's representative of what he's done for Dortmund. He excels at carrying the ball or running in transition and playing at a really fast tempo on the counterattack. Direct runs and rapid combinations against outmanned defenses. Pep plays very slow and controlled until somebody finds an imbalance/opening and exploits it ruthlessly. I haven't seen Reus make many of those precise forward runs behind settled defenses (I don't think he's as good against settled defenses in general).

I could be reading too much into how he plays for Dortmund though, and he's a massive talent for Pep to work with. I still think in general there's a danger in having an attack that likes to play at different tempos. Lewandowski looks like shit for Bayern because he likes running and rapid transitions, not precise movements into little seams.

Wanker signs a new contract until 2019 https://twitter.com/BVB/status/565121758043590656

I'm calling him a wanker as the cunt is only doing it so he can sign for Barca in 2016.

BUNDESLIGA
Huge coup for Borussia Dortmund as Marco Reus signs new contract until 2019
Marco Reus has surprisingly committed his future to Borussia Dortmund by signing a new contract with the struggling German club.

"I am very happy with my decision. Dortmund is my home city and Borussia is simply my club," said Reus.

His current deal expired in the summer of 2017 but crucially had a release clause set at 25 million euros, which will have almost certainly been removed.

That last part is key. He's only signed the deal so BVB can pick up more cash for him this summer.

FA Cup final is the same day as the Copa Del Rey final. I hope I don't have to miss Arsenal.

Likely an end to the Bale to United possibility as well. Excellent.
