What's more difficult to win? Some say a Cup can, sometimes, be won by fluke. 1 lucky goal here or there, and before you know it you have old big ears in your hands.

Theoretically you can win the damn thing without scoring a goal in the knock out stages (Penalties)...

You can't fluke a league title, so in your opinions, what's more difficult to win, a league or a Champions league/Europa League

It depends on the competition. If you put all the 32 CL teams into a league it'd be much tougher for most of the clubs to win the league, but, it would be easier for the favourites to win. It's easier for an unfavoured side to win the CL than it is for an unfavoured side to win the PL. The CL favourites at the start of the year rarely end up winning the CL, but the PL favourites generally tend to win or come very close.

So to conclude, if you're the best side, it's easier to win a league competition. If you're not, the CL is more likely to be your best chance of silverware.

Might as well close the thread after that accurate summary.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart
