:laughcry: PL winners x2, some of the finest players to grace the league have worn the shirt, one of the eight founding members of the PL, the Manchester Derby etc. We've got plenty going for us as a club. But regardless, if we were relegated before all that I wouldn't have complained if someone said we don't bring much to the PL. Fulham bring nothing; shit ground, shit players, shit history, shit for many years in the PL, and aside from a good win against United and a dramatic relegation escape in 2008, I can't think of any brilliant moments that they've been involved in.

All of which you've just mentioned are as a result of the billions spent. Nothing admirable about the way it's been done therefore nothing admirable about the club. The Manchester Derby was nothing until the money either. It was and still is one of the worlds biggest clubs vs a nothing club it's just that the nothing club competes now. So nearly being relegated but then escaping goes towards making you a good club. Yep, that sounds right.

There's nothing admirable about the likes of City and PSG.

Decent UEFA Cup run in 2010.

Winner.

Fulham are a complete and utter nothing club. No atmosphere at their stadium, no uniqueness, no notable support, everything about them is so forgettable and they're just totally inter-changable with most of the other London clubs. It'd be nice if shit like Fulham, QPR, Charlton etc. could just merge into one club because all of them are just taking the place of club's with a proper identity and following.

There's nothing admirable about our owners building an entire campus based around youth development? Nothing admirable about employing Manchester based workers and using locally sourced materials? Nothing admirable about aiming to regenerate the entire eastern quarter of Manchester and providing in-city community schemes? Say what you like about the club on the pitch but fucking hell, you're targeting the wrong club off the pitch. We're as good as it gets off the pitch, the epitome of class and sophistication from top to bottom.

A £50m fine and a reduction of your CL squad suggests you're not the epitome of class and sophistication. That's not to say you're not doing good off the pitch but every single club does to a degree.

So do Oxfam.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

My thoughts are summed up well by Stephen Fry here from around 0:55 onwards, what a guy:

Gary Neville SS1 on an end of season special talking about Fulham "That's a very good football club. In their 10 years in the Premier League they've been well respected"(Something like that)
