RVP's probably got the hump due to the fact Rooneys earning better money. The guy's a tosser.

FA Cup final is the same day as the Copa Del Rey final. I hope I don't have to miss Arsenal.

Fergie and van Persie probably had a good old chuckle at that clause when it was made.

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie wants to extend his contract at Old Trafford.
"The truth is I'm very happy here," the Dutchman said. "I signed for four years and I'd be delighted to stay longer, beyond the next two years I have on my contract."

I thought so. Noise about him being unhappy were simply internet folk talking. I'm sure he'll stay the remaining two years, and even beyond that is a possibility.

It really was a good interview from a united fans perspective. He really is an intelligent guy, so he could just be saying what the fans want to hear.

Im still not convinced.

--------------De Gea-------------
Rafael--Jones--Smalling--Shaw
--------Kroos---Gundogan------
Mata-------Rooney-----Januzaj
-----------van Persie------------

Could do with a quality CB, Hummels would be decent because Smalling/Jones/Evans are level below what we've been used to the past 25 years in Bruce/Pallister/Stam/Vidic/Ferdinand.

Would Kroos and Gundogan in a midfield two even work?
