Both are in their prime of their career's and with Rooney only having 12 months left on his existing contract it seems rather unlikely he will be signing an extension to his current deal.

Why would either want be playing Europa League football? Why would either want to be playing for a club that isn't going anywhere fast other than downhill?

It is debatable whether both will leave this summer but I would almost guarantee that both will be long gone in 18 months time.

Didn't realise Rooney only had a year left. Even if Man United scrape 4th it'll be tough to keep hold of him, he probably had his heart set on a move to Chelsea over the summer and that doesn't just change over-night.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Rooney moved to Chelsea next season. As for RVP, I think it depends on whether Moyes is still there next season. If he is, I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave either.

I don't think anyone was suggesting they'd move to a team that doesn't have CL football mate.

One of them will be leaving Old Trafford in the summer IMO, maybe both. Also see Hernandez leaving. Welbeck can become a top drawer striker so I don't think Moyes will be sweating too much. Improving the midfield and style of play is key for United.

I'd sign three new first choice players for midfield/attack and keep Nani if I were United. Januzaj will probably be ready to play every week next season.

Don't be an idiot, Welbeck has everything needed. Strikers with less talent than him have score 30 goals a season.

Monaco, PSG (If Ibra leaves) , AC Milan , Juventus possibly next summer, wouldnt even surprise me if Real Madrid did. Dortmund would love to take him too but doubt theyd afford his wages

Winner.

Hernandez, Rooney and van Persie all leaving in one window with Welbeck left leading the attack and Moyes won't be sweating?

Wonder if Arsene will go in for Rooney, probably will and he'd be perfect for them.
